Did anyone make money promoting AFFILIATE PROGRAMS on GOOGLE ADSENSE?

Ive been reading about this, and it seems to be SO DIFFICULT to make a profit on GOOGLE ADSENSE since there are so many promoters bidding for the same position?! How do you know what to bid; how can you play it safe? In a sense, it is a game of luck?

Are you meaning to say Google Adwords?
Google Adsense is Google’s advertising program where webmaster can earn income by putting peoples ads on their site.
Your can’t get the answer in a few short words but here are a few suggestions:

    1) Aim on perfecting your ‘quality score’. You can do this by…
    2) Have your own website, blog, etc. Build a page just for the keywords you are bidding and test…
    3) Test what converts. Headline, ads body copy, url, etc. and…
    4) Keep testing. Notice what works and what’s not.
    5) Bid high first because you’ll get better position (top 4 if possible).
    6) Know when to lower your bid (depends largely on your Quality Score).

From all these, testing is your best option. Keep testing and tweaking.

    Hello Jen,

There are millions (literally) of people who promote affiliate programs on Google Adsense successfully and turn a profit – it just takes a lot of time, and effort.

Campaigns need to be constantly tweaked with keywords being added, removed, and cleaned up as time goes on. You should make sure you are only paying for the keywords that are getting you the conversions – why pay for anything more?

There are plenty of programs, guides, and lots of information available to help you online. My advice would be do a little reading and maybe give it another shot!

  6. With the right choice of niche, product, and marketing strategy, it is absolutely possible to make money promoting via Adsense!

However, you can’t simply throw up some keywords provided by the affiliate manager, write one ad, and expect to profit.

To be truly successful takes careful market and keyword research. Next, be sure to always split test your ads. Another quick tip is to carefully target the sites where your ads will be displayed.

    Great topic…thank you!
