Yup. It’s just a bunch of businesses who have paid to be members.
The only thing the local BBB in my area will do is tell you how long a business has been a member and if they respond to complaints in a timely manner. NOT even how many complaints or whether they were resolved to the customers’ satisfaction.
Very true. BBB is funded by businesses. However it is still better than dealing with someone on the street.
