Online Business Opportunity: How to Approach Your Leads
In order to have success with an online business you need to build relationships with people. It’s crucial that when you speak with a potential prospect that you are able to find out if you will be able to help them or if they are just wanting more information. You need to learn how to approach your leads.
In the online business you have to be teachable in order to learn all the different aspects of what it takes to succeed. Some people are just way too proud and will never reach out and ask for help. You want to work with someone who is willing to listen to what you have to say so they can learn and eventually lead others.
It’s very important that when you are speaking with someone over the phone that you have a big smile on your face. It doesn’t matter whether they can see you or not because they will be able to hear it in your voice. No one wants to work with someone who is always grumpy or unhappy!
Whether you are calling leads or they are calling you, be cheerful when you talk to them on the phone and ask them how they are doing. If this particular time isn’t convenient to talk, schedule a time you can call them back so you can help them with the information they are interested in learning about.
When you two do speak, ask them some personal questions so you can find out if you will be able to assist them with their search or if they are the kind of person you want to work with. You should only want to work with people who are enthusiastic and willing to do what it takes.
During the conversation you should find out things about them like:
What they do for a living?
What do they like about their current position and what is their least favorite thing about their position?
Are they married?
Do they have kids?
What do they enjoy doing for fun?
How long have they been in network marketing?
What do they like about network marketing?
What is their greatest challenge in network marketing?
How much money are they interested in making?
How much money do they have to invest?
How much time do they have each week to commit to their business?
How serious are they about creating this income?
Depending who you have on the other end of the phone will depend largely on the types of questions you need to ask. Once you have all their information is when you can make an informed decision whether this is the person that you want to work with. Be sure to follow up with them a few days after your first initial contact to see if they like the information you provided for them and if they are ready to take that next step.
